I have a premium account and I'm wondering if there is a way for my file to be private (not accessible directly) but still downloadable from the link i will provide on my website. This will be a big help since I want all traffic for this file to be directed through my website. Thanks!

Christina Drake For security reasons, it would not be possible to have a file marked as private but still available for public download. The only way private files can be downloaded is if they are downloaded directly from the account.
As an alternative, you can mark a file as hidden, set a password on the file, and share the file link URL to the file. Then, the file will be downloadable as long as the person has the password associated with the file. If they do not have the password, the file cannot be accessed.
Please Note: It is important to share only the File Link URL, as the other URLs available will not prompt for a password.
