can i change plan from monthly to yearly

i tried the basic plan. the speed was somewhat slow. i want to buy a paid plan. i know there will be a speed increase in the paid plan, but i am unsure by how much

i was going to go for the 1 year plan, but i am a bit worried the speed increase will only be a little thus it will take forever to upload all my files and i have a LOT of files

i am considering first paying for 1 month to try it out and if i like it i will upgrade to yearly. can i do that?

does the monthly plan have the same benefits as the yearly plan in bandwidth and speed?

  also i am hearing there are problems in bandwidth and the downloading is limited. what exactly does that mean?

  i currently have 578gb of data which i need to store online. i will mostly be uploading by copying files from my laptop hard disk to the open drive hard disk. i will be/ rarely downloading so no bandwidth problems

  but there may come a time in which i need to download large amounts of data. can i do that all at once? or are there limits?

   

  i also heard of an issue in which bandwidth is deducted when download is requested so if the download is cancelled the bandwidth will not be returned. has this issue been fixed?

   

  also is there a limit on the number of times i can download the same file?

  ***by download i mean copying files from my open drive hard disk to my laptop hard disk***

  When you setup a subscription, you can change it at any time. However, we typically suggest submitting the request through the support center. That way, we can ensure that the account is updated correctly and that the fee is prorated correctly. Between monthly and yearly, there is no difference other than the fee and the amount of time between renewal dates.

  You can download up to the amount of bandwidth included in your plan. If this limit is exceeded, you will need to wait until the following day at noon PST to download more data from your account.

  There are no limits to the number of times you can download the same file. However, each download will count against your available bandwidth.

  Bandwidth is recorded in 1 MB blocks, and we only deduct the amount of data that has been transferred from our servers. Our servers can send data at a speed of 100 MB/s. However, most connections cannot download at this speed.

  -When you are downloading a smaller file, and the download is interrupted, it will typically take longer for the stop request to make it to the server than it would for all of the data to have been sent from the server.

  -With a larger file, it may be easier to see the difference between the file size and the amount downloaded. This, however, will still depend on the file size and the connection speed. The server would still likely send more data than the amount you received at the time the download is interrupted. This is due to the amount of time it takes for the stop request to be uploaded to the server
