Title says it: Too many downloads from same IP???

What does it mean? I have a music blog for legal freely distributed independent music. I've linked download-links for web mp3-player instead of streaming links. Yesterday mp3-player stopped working. Finally I found this error message: "Too many downloads from same IP"

What it seems that when I play the song, it is interpreted as download. Anyway, my accounts says that there should be a lot of space and bandwith to use (see below).

I'm running business with this so it's very serious issue for me, it should be fixed quickly. How?

This happens when a corrupted file is trying to be streamed from the folder you have this particular file in. It will cause OpenDrive to repeatedly try to download the corrupt file resulting in the IP error in question. Remove the corrupt file and replace it with an uncorrupted one to resolve the issue.

We intentionally limit the number of downloads from the same IP within a certain time frame to protect the bandwidth of our users.

This limitation is due to repeated attempts to download the same file by some video/audio players. These rules also protects our users against robots, crawlers, or computer viruses that crawl links and attacking files.

If the file was downloaded from the same IP more than it is allowed by our system, file downloading is locked for this IP for few minutes.

In some cases you can see multiple downloads from the same IP in your log, but bandwidth was deducted only once. This happens especially when video/audio files are played by third party media players.
