An Apology for Downtime on July 30, 2013

Our servers at our data center were down from approximately 5am to 8:30am PST due to a hardware failure that caused the link to our database to be broken, resulting in a server error when trying to log into our website and Internet connection errors when attempting to connect through our apps, which also use the same servers.

The problem has been fixed and the data center has assured us that they will do everything they can to prevent this from happening again by modifying their systems in a way that will transfer workloads as much as possible should another major failure occur.

We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. We can assure you that this is a rare occurrence which has a very slim chance of repeating again. We can also assure you that your data continues to be safe and is once again available 24/7/365. We care deeply about our customers and value your business, and will continue to work very hard to extend the standard of service that you deserve, the same standard that has made OpenDrive the best online cloud storage provider in the world.

Thank you for your understanding. If you have any further questions or concerns, or if there is anything else we can do for you, please contact us through support and we will be happy to help you and reassure you in any way we can.
